In 2009 we started cooperation with our German partner, the HWT Hamburger Wassertaxi GmbH Company and the outcome of the cooperation is a new product – water taxi Hamburg Pearl – is.
The vessel’s biggest advantage is the new technology applied to put it in motion. The boat is equipped with two electric motors, powered by 2 aggregates and solar batteries located on the roof. The energy is stored in batteries under the floor. It makes the boat entirely nature friendly and allows sailing on the waters where sailing with the use of internal combustion engines is prohibited.
It was meant to be used as a taxi boat or sightseeing boat. 12 passengers can travel on the deck of the boat.
Extremely comfortable seats are arranged in two rows, with 6 seats in each row. The seats are equipped with a movable armrests with carbonic overlay and a table, while in the headrests, there are carbonic railing handles. The taxi can be entered both from the starboard side and the portside by means of spacious stairs with solid side handrails giving the feeling of safety.
Emergency exit is located at the front. At the rear part of the passenger’s compartment there is a WC with sea toilet and a closet, which may be arranged for a cocktail cabinet serving drinks for passengers.
Large, panoramic windows and open roof of the convertible type, give the passengers the feeling of being close to nature, and during sunny days make the cruise a pleasant adventure. The taxi may be operated by the crew of 1 or 2 persons. The whole deck, in the cockpit, bow and half-decks parts, is covered with artificial teak. Considering its nautical properties, quotation: “the boat is distinguished by an extraordinary behavior on the water. Carefully thought out construction guarantees the boat to be comfortable and spacious. The Hamburg Pearl uses the 3 glide. Lack of flat steps enables the boat to sit well in the water at every speed and type of wave. Long keel provides good stability of the vessel and at the same time is a perfect protection of propellers”.
The vessel complies with all standards and directives concerning commercial/professional passenger’s transport. It also complies with the requirements of the German Ministry of Transport. The vessel has been manufactured under the supervision of the Germanischer Lloyd of nonflammable laminate. The whole equipment also meets requirements concerning nonflammable/self-extinguishing properties.

For information concerning cruises, please refer to: www.hamburg–wassertaxi.de
The above mentioned equipment is only an option. The vessel can be powered with classic diesel motors or may be equipped with different number of seats and the interior may be differently arranged.
